Thanks - I figured it out - and have documented the process - it is
rough form - and am trying to figure out how to build a menu (or
pre-determined answers). You folks want a copy of it - May save someone
else a headache down the road.

If you want to add new hardware (for which you have a kernel patch) you
need to compile a new kernel (and modules) as described at the following
