As udpcast isnt in pkgsrc yet(no idea why, great imaging too), I tried to
compile it by hand but I get this error:

We have a bunch of notebooks to image and the guys
aren't willing to wait for the occassional messed up
notebook to image if it is dragging all of the others
down. When one is showing as missing packets continually,
they want to disconnect it and carry on with the others.
The problem is that with a recent version of udpcast we
are noticing that there are many "Press any key to start"
messages filling the screen of each client, so we can't
see what node number a client is.
Is there any way to either:
- eliminate the high number of repeated "press any key" appearances
on the clients, or
- get the node id of the udpcast client from the client
console, or associate its udpast node number with an IP.

Hi all,
I'm testing the pxe images on site to clone images, but it is bringing me this
error on the receiver machine:
"Warning: unable to open an inital console.
Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passing init=option to kernel.
"
I'm using the same initrd and linux kernel on site.
Sometime ago, I had the same error in a minilinux project I was working on.
The problem was that I was using the busybox package instead of
busybox-static. The busybox needs the glibc and the busyboox-static does not
need. I wonder if this is the same error. Have anybody here passed the same
problem?May somebody help me with this issue?
Regards,
Sara Nery
ps - sorry for my poor english

Hi all,
I'm new to this list, and I need some information about use udpcast to clone
the content of IDE flash memories, I have a minilinux using grub into one, and
another using syslinux as bootloader. Although the flash memories have
different architeture of blocks and don't have cylinders, I'm not sure if it
will work fine.
Can somebody help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Sarah
